I raced with him in Ohio, well I don't know if you could call it racing. Ok, I got my ass whooped by him in Ohio. Great skater, awesome guy. Very cool video.

Fast guy! I don't know what it is about him, but he almost has a negative draft. At 2 ft behind him, going the same speed, he still managed to pull away. My guess is his helmet. I noticed he takes a little while to return to his tuck from his cornering position though. Anyways, he's fast.

how much does he weigh? that might be part of it also. is it similar to when we rode together or more extreme?

It doesn't compare, he's tall and skinny. I guess you could say it's similar to how you pull away from me, but at least I could somewhat catch your draft.

    anyways,
How have you been? Been back to clermont lately?

fast guy, but i hear that an aero helmet really makes itself known because the airflow is so smooth around the rider, that there is nothing to draft

    His helmet huh?
Dont know how his helmet works for drafting, all I know is that he'd better not crash on it

good but no clermont since last time we went. i ordered another dh and a wedge kit so i can slow the turning down and see how i like it. hopefull it gets here before two sundays from now were probably gonna go since shane will be able to drive himself now.

looking at a dh tuck(amer or euro) i think that our heads are what cause the most turbulence which if smoothed out by an aero helmet could make it harder to draft. how do they compare to like an icaro or charly? skyrunner might be my next helmet.

Fredrik told me that he didn't feel any faster when he had his aero helmet compared to when he had a skyrunner. He said that it definitely helps with the draft though.

    Nice one Andreas,

Getting cheeky at the end. On the IGSA rankings, since 2001, there has not been one skater to hold the number one spot for 2 years in a row.

Damn, he makes it look so easy. I need to grow some cajones, or buy some leathers, and throw myself down a hill or two.

Not trying to be a dick in the least. But i noticed you just bought jimzs and you want an icaro. I may not have 50 mph hills but at least i have stuff to practice on. You guys only have like 2 hills that are an hour away. Do you plan on racing? Thats a good amount of money to spend if you really cannot use it. I may have bought maguns but i do have hills that will push me to my limit.

Just trying to steer you in the right direction. For where you are i say go for a azonic t-55. If you are racing then you should get whatever you want.

I don't know you and I don't know if you do get out to bigger hills. So if you do then totally forget about my post.

Come on LB1, just because we piss you off about your maguns doesn't mean you can do that to other people. And yes, I'm going to steal your maguns.

I reckon its not about what helmet or what stuff you've got that makes u fast!
Fredrik has been a talent since he first started racing, he has always been the fastest guy around here in sweden, with but also without his helmet!
I have one of those helmets aswell, and i can tell you, it doesnt make u go faster, although i reckon u find your tuck a little bit easier in it.

Right now he's the best rider i've raced this year and its his riding that makes him what he is! Cheers // Olle van Keppel
