East Coast Racing?

Hey I've noticed most races are over in California and such. Do you guys here on the East Coast know of any big races around here (outlaw or official)? I really want to get into racing but am having trouble finding where to start

Yeah upstate NY has a lot of huge 5 mile 50mph+ roads so if you are ever in the area let us know.

Thanks guys, me and my buds are gonna go all over the place this summer to find some nice hills. I might take you up on that Sofa King, I'm up in the suburbs by lowell. CT isn't too far away, my uncle lives there too.

Where does your uncle live at? We have a crew of riders from around CT, Mass, NYC, that whole area... probably gonna be going on a bunch of chill ass camping trips through the summer just skating, swimming, scoping hills, relaxing, you know? We should definitely meet up sometime.

Dude...The NOVA Bombers are taking the lead on a big outlaw series on the East Coast this spring and summer. Crews from all over the coast are putting together individual races that we're going to tie together into a series with a final cup race.

We still need a Mass. race so if you're interested hit me or longboardertwan up. Even if you can't get a race going yourself it would be awesome if you came and raced. Check out the events forum for the 2007 East Coast Outlaw Series

My thoughts are... why does it have to be a race? Why not have a jam, one big session where everyone wins? Too many kids are preoccupied with the idea of going to a race and winning prizes... more need to be focused on riding and getting to be a better skateboarder.

Yeah the New Jersey outlaw convoy thing done by Ned and the NJ crew was awesome....and a good handful of people came (of course there could be more).

Ned and NJ, you guys did an amazing job of getting it going. It always seems that when Ned is planning a session, it always gets big and it always turns out great.
