    Default speedboarding tips

ok i just wanted to start this for relativly new people to speedboarding (myself) so that we could learn from others to keep the amount of mistakes we make low.

i was racing my friends and we locked wheels. know where your fellow racers are.

look for cracks and bumps in the rode before looking around for fellow racers and

    uh well ur guys turn
    #### you

if you clap your slider gloves a couple times when you're approaching someone, it lets them know not to start swerving everywhere, just hold your line.

If you're behind its still your responsilibty to give them the right of way, so dont expect to sneak in the inside line and stuff like that. u dont wanna cut anyone off

know the road, know the limits of your board and your limits.

once i was passed by danny connor and kludy right before a hairpin on gmr, and i was right behind them going into the hairpin. They both airbrake a tiny bit, but i was too lazy to stand up or footbrake, so i was going in hotter than them into the turn.

I didnt have room to goto the outside, cuz if i swerved out to take the outside line in that turn i woulda eaten ####, so i just dove into the very very inside of the turn way faster than kludy.

unfortunately, even with brand new sublime zigs i couldnt hold that line, and was sliding into kludy's line. fortunately he saw/heard me (how he knew iw as gonna plow him with that fat ass aero helmet i dont know, i guess thats why he's so good), and went to the outside so i wouldnt plow into him. the only downside is that his new line too him up on the banked embankment/dirt. he actually went grinding on the concrete embankment going through a hairpin at prolly 20-30mph and managed to hold it. i was amazed.

moral of the story, unless it's hardcore racing for lots of moolah, know your limits and what you can or cant do. that was the stupidest manuever on my part. I should have just held back going into the turn and gone a little slower intot he hairpin with a better line.
