Kebbek Ian Comishin, which truck
Hey all!
Im kinda new to speedboarding but this summer im buying my first board.
After a whole lot of thinking ive decided on the Ian Comishin board by kebbek.
since ive heard alot about randal being a crap truck, ive looked into some alternatives.
Ive found that the most prestigeous and best quality truck is the crail and force trucks in this price range, now im wondering if any of these two will fit the kebbeks cnc'd mounting places. I really cant get hold of crails so the real question is if force trucks will fit my kebbek ian comishin?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Kebbek Ian Comishin, which truck
The Ian Comishin is drilled for Force/Randal and then you can get one drilled for only crails. Persanolly I have a Comishin with crails, they are top notch truck. Stable and turn smooth and deep. Get trucks. I used to run 83mm 78a flywheels, but they drifted to much for me and I am selling them tomorrow. I'll run BigZigs now. But it is a top notch board, good choice. I know ~Nick~ has one, maybe he can chime in about how his rides.

Yup, you can order the comishin flushed for crails, or randal/force. Personally i would go force over crail (i like crails better in general, but the angle on forces works better with the comihsin), force axles arnt exactly the cats meow, but they definanlty beat randal, they have super deep turning, they give you the stability of a randal DH with the carvy/smooth turning that could be compared to a 40 degree truck. the angles like i said, work great with the comishin (i have jimz plates, which needed custom flushin, and jimz hangers on mine, jimz speed plates are 35 degrees, IT FEELS AMAZING) and have also had it crails and forces. Forces felt better IMO. if you order from kebbek you can get the blue ones to , which look super sick. When you get them be sure to hammer out the stock kingpins and get some gr 8 ones!
-Bushing recomendation for forces: Jims stims! i love them to peices! they aslo fit perfect in forces, they give you the elusive carvy/turny yet super stable feel , but bee sure to use a flat washer for the top bushings.
^ not sure if that had any flow to it...i just drank tons of redbull , so feel free to ask any specific questions and ill clear them up.
As for wheels, ive had a large variety on m comishin including Grippins, Gumballs in various duro;s, Pink powerballs, Pink gumballs, 83 flywheels 78a (hate them the most), Both bigzigs, Green & red kryptos, flashbacks, speedvents and more...
But, Speedvents are downright my favourite, i had high hopes for big zigs but they wernt nearly what i hoped for. But 77mm 79a speedvents are amazing! They accelerate and hold there speed awesome, make any road smooth, roll fast and quiet, Grip very good, but can be slidden smoothly, and they are great for keeping line through corners, at the end of the corner it even feels like they sling you out.
another bonus with the comishin, it becomes a caften if you dont drop it thru.
blah blah blah.

Yea I love my Crails. Though I haven't used Forces so I cant commmet on them. I have ridden Randal DH's and they are ok. After that small review ~Nick~ I think I'll get the speedvents. BigZigs are going on something else...Anyways the Comishin is a super GREAT board, love it to pieces. Getting Crail cutouts defientally limits your truck choices, so get Force/Randal if your not sold on Crails. They have a higer angel, 45 degrees though.

Re: Kebbek Ian Comishin, which truck
Yeah Forces and Vents for that board for sure. I have tried Crails and clear Kryptos, not nearly as stable or fun for that matter I prefer the red big vents over whites. and you can't go wrong with biltins 7's!
Cuz all we gots is 20 minutes till Friday...

Re: Kebbek Ian Comishin, which truck
Sorry to say if you felt unstable on Crails then it wasn't the trucks bro. Biltins are really nice bearings. They need no speedrings, so not as much parts to deal with. Love mine for DH.

Have you TRIED other trucks yet? Do you know for a fact that Crails are the best because you have experience with all the other ones?

I perfer crails over 35 deg trucks annytime. The onely reaso I use 35deg is for a backtruck.
One of the funnest options is riding a crail front an RII hanger on a DH plate in the back. Can be tricky to finetune though
