older post but yeah, my toe used to hurt when I did it and if I hold it like that then it hurts. But just do lunges and stuff and get you're knee to touch the ground and use you're toes alot. And it helps, alot! I can hold it for a while and it's comfortable, but I don't feel areo when I do it.

I use that when I get tired and my knee kind of sinks from it's original position. It looks nice and clean. I used to use a Brazilian for the longer runs, but I found out it's not very aero. I was riding with bertman and dane and I couldn't even keep up drafting in a Brazilian tuck. Maybe I just suck at it. In a nice low Euro tuck I could do the draft and pass thing. It just gets kind of tiring. Any suggestions for workouts to improve leg strength? I went to the gym and lifted some weights with my legs on a machine. I need to do that on a regular basis.

for strengthening the legs, try (i don't know if there is an actual name for this) sitting against a a wall like your sitting in a chair, but without the chair.

you also can make your own indo board using an old deck and puting a wheel under it in he middle, its super hard and gives you quite a work out very quickly

Not always, if you feel aero you might just being going faster than you usually do... You never know unless you have a picture.

As for the wall squats, they're great for strengthening your legs and mind for that matter... Other things that help are leg-press and leg lifts. Your abs also play a pretty big role in your tuck, if your serious about it sit-up will always help

i'd recommend lifting your ass a little higher up, so that your torso, instead of poitning in the upwards direction, is more in the horizontal direction. at the very least your chest should be lower.

Indo boards are sweet. A friend of mine had one and I got pretty good at it a couple years ago.

i was wondering if letting your ass hang down so your body is like this /
is slower than holding your ass up so it is in line with your back and head like ---
cause it sure is less tiring
    but is less aero?
    think again

No. Under a constant force this is true. However, gravity is not a constant force, it is a dynamic force dictated by the mass of given object m. It is more accurately, a constant acceleration, by definition.
In the context of DH skateboarding that is an erroneous statement because gravity is our only means of acceleration.
If you roll a bowling ball and a golf ball down a hill its not going to take the bowling ball longer to accelerate, thats just silly.

    Quick question.

I read this a while back, forgot where it was. Is keeping your chin closer to your front knee more effective? It seems like my upper body is rested too far over my thigh sometimes, and it looks pretty awkward from a side view. I'm not sure if it's that or if it's my bulky helmet.

I think the way your left hand is holding the camera could use a little work, i just think it might catch a lot of air that way, maybe try it with the camera in the pocket, might work better... haha, jk man, looks great. and see ya saturday
