I decided to try this while the 'fish was down. One wheel under the board really sucked, so I put all four underneath. Worked out pretty well!

Packing tape, 90mm Flys, beater board:

I can stand on it pretty well:

Tucking is so hard, it's like I have wet noodles for core muscles. I've got a hand on the wall for support in this picture.

    Here's Godquit trying it out:

I tried the Ghindo aswell. Only one wheel though. Its perfect wobble practice. When i get down in a tuck i allways get wobbles on the ghindo ofcourse. Its super fun!

wouldn't practicing your tuck on an indo board etc. teach your muscles to center your core balance, rather than having your weight forward and stable?

maybe you could move the wheel more towards the front to compensate...

I think he means do you gain any stablity or speed from holding you hands in a shape to complete a teardrop shape vice holding your butt..I know I hold my butt because it helps me stay in my tuck (as sucky as it is)

I took a bad fall on 5/24/2008 at Mt. Baker, went off the road and fell down the side of the mountain. I went into a coma, badly broke my pelvis, lacerated my liver and almost died on the mountain AND later in the hospital. The rehabilitation therapists had to teach me how to do everything again...everything.

I survived that mountain because of my helmet...WEAR ONE and send your family to the hospital, not the morgue.

Home depot sells 6 inch diameter 2 foot long pvc pipes that are perfect for "Ghindo boards." They're around $2-3 and are great because you can also use them to learn indo shove-its and 90-180-360 spins. I practice tucking with the board the traditional direction as well as at 90 degrees which is much more difficult but will help your stabilizer muscles a lot.

do you have trouble with the board sliding around? PVC seems so slick.

It's not bad but I am not sure how stable that is. Also tucking is much more aero, which means it is much faster.
