actaully the second picture kinda helps. You can see the foot placement, angles of the feet, and the angle of the back leg. it sort of crosses over...

edit: HEY the 2nd guy is wearing two different shoes!!!! Will that make him go faster?

He's possibly trying to see the person behind him.
    or looking at his feet.
maybe he knows what's coming up, and is looking for that last little bit of aero..?

I have trouble getting my torso that close to my knee.
    I think I need a longer standing platform than what I've got, I'm 6'3...
being mongo and needing meat under my back heel doesn't help either..

I'm getting better at "natural" foot breaking. But I still feel more stable mongo which is wrong...

    edit
I'd say he's traded with a goofy rider.

I would say that he can only see fairly close- to directly in front of him. Dropping your head that low does give you a bit of a speed boost, it's good for the straights. Those low (Euro) tucks have an advantage in that they are difficult to draft but are very hard (IMO) to hold over long distances. I use a lower tuck like that for the beginning of a run, when exiting corners, and sometimes when drafting, but usually transition to a higher stance with knees locked as I get tired. IME, I wouldn't necessarily say they are any faster than a good, more "American" style tuck, but they work well if you have the strength to hold them long enough. Really all stances can be used effectively if you know what you're doing. I've seen some people use modified versions of various Brazilian, Euro, American tucks, etc. to great effect in various situations. It's what you're comfortable with, and what works for you.

Im very comfortable in that tuck, can hold it for most of seven km. Defintaly agree on the head down thing, it gives a slight acceleration boost. but only usefull if you can hold a dead straight line. good for overtaking!

    Those are all Canadians.

I like how they each have their own style... Nate and Scoot look almost exacly the same the way they tuck their legs, but their upper bodies are different.

One thing about Kevin's tuck is its kind of a basic tuck, but he works it so well and is extremely fast with it. His tuck is what I try and emulate when I speedboard.

    No, it's in the USA.

Negative. I can hold a Brazillian tuck forever, but it tops out at 80 km/h. You need a FAST tuck that works best, and it doesn't matter how long you can hold it.

Why does it top out at 80 with you when brazilian guys never seem to top out with that tuck?

I don't find a euro tuck to be hard to hold at all. It actually feels easiest.

    Here's mine. Works really well.
