Randall r2's dont change poviot angle when flipped the axle simply resides behind the axis of poviot causing a need for more leverage in order to turn the truck, hense more stable

Im not saying your right, but im not going to go there.
Couple of boards on that list that are not less than $150 and would not be good recommendations for guys just starting out. Namely anything with carbon or foam in it. If you're a beginner...stick with an all wood deck.

I am aware that flipping the hanger does not alter the actual angle, but I was under the impression that it did change the effective steering angle of the truck.
I will let people discuss it further and edit it depending on the general consensus is.

Thank you, the actual pivot angel doesnt mean a hoot, its the steering angle. So you are changing the angle by flipping it because everyone cares about the steering angle, not the pivot angle.

I believe the boards in question were the Chicago boards. I have removed the Foamie Topmount and Cutthroat. I know that with out CF the other Chicago boards can be made for <$150 US. I will re-add the Cutthoat if someone finds out it can be made for <$150 US.

What? They're exactly the same thing.
Flipped and un-flipped randals have the same turn radius at the same board lean angle.
What changes is how much force is required to get the board there.
(well, a board with flipped hangers has about a cm less wb so practically the same anyway)

I think you should add the new chicago Scorpian.

Great list, this is gonna help me a lot when I'm choosing my first deck. You could always add good bushings or combinations for different weights.
Thanks thats why I made it
As for bushings.... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA..... There are hundreds and hundreds of different bushings and each board needs 4 so the combos are endless. Making a list would be just about impossible... search the forum, feel free to pm me, or if you really think its necessary make post.
i already think that there is a bushing list out here somewhere..
oh and how about how different angled riser options that can effect the stability/turning of the board?
