Default Landyachtz vs. Rayne; Randal vs. Bears

I've been longboarding for years, but I live in Florida where the best hills are drawbridges, landfills, and parking garages. I'm moving out to colorado and want to get into speedboarding. Here are my questions:

1) Which Landyachtz is preferable? The Evo or the DH race?

2) Landyachtz or Rayne? I saw rayne had pretty possitive reviews except for the splintering noses and tails during wrecks, but no one was upset with landyachtz either.

3) Bears vs. Randal IIs? I can't figure out which one is better or for what.

If you guys think I'm searching in the wrong direction let me know too, I'm open.

Thanks in advance.

please use the search function for questions like this in the future.

i dont like the DH race. the evo will be much more useful for virtually everything.
i love all of raynes speedboards. but the evo is a tried and true board. and LY have a fanbase for a good reason. you'll do fine with either one.
and bears and rIIs are near the same. the one you want depends of the board., 42* 180 hangers for any rayne deck, and 42/50 180 on evo IMO.

good luck and welcome to the fish

EDIT cleaning up

in my oppinion you should look at wayyy more boards and products. theres more companys than just rayne and landy. yes both produce great products. but theres still a ton more out there to look at that may just catch your eye. as for boards i wouldent sudgest the dh race or evo. both are tried and used boards yes this is true. but through the years of continuous testing and new company's coming out with new ideas and concepts. theres a ton more boards out there to take a look at and to give a try. i would sudgest testing out many boards. Im not a big fan of drop decks like the evo or the dh race (i own the dh race and it just dosent turn! due to the harsh wedging of the nose and tail angles) if your really worried about stability i would get a board like the nemesis or the new Niko kebbek board or a G-series godspeedboard. somethin with just a 2ish inch drop. you really dont need more then that. or take a look at some dropthru's. I myself am a topmount guy. I find it stable regardless of their "squirly" attributes being a topmount. i would certainly sudgest a topmount for your first board. my first board was a topmount and id have to say. those sketchy ass gullwings that come stock with the S9 bomb hills really taught me alot. you have to remember stability is a mindset. if you cant accept that your about to go really fast down this gnar hill, and your scared, you sketch yourself out, wobble, and crash. If you wernt scared in the first place and accepted your about to go potentially really fast and just stay relaxed and concentrated. chances are you woulda made it. as for my second board, the dh race, i hated it due to the extreme change in board design from my first topmount the bomb hills. stable as fcuk yea... but you have to be agile aswell. then i got a rayne avenger and i loved it and thats what i ride right now. set up with kahas, bones, and S9 goddess wheels. again its all just oppinion. some guys love their dh races and evos and would tell me to eff off. lol but dont hate cuz its all personal opinion. the most important thing for you to do is listen to your own instincts. dont let other people tell you what to buy. as for trucks.... stay away from bears. they bend easy. randals would be the better choice if you set em up properly. altho randal dh's dont turn due to their lower baseplate angle. and RII's are... well... RII's. seriously if your lookin into getting into speedboarding. i would seriously suggest investing in either crails (just remember to have the right bushing combo or they tend to be sketchy) or fasttracks (with their extra big bushings they are extremely responsive and stable) both of which are non-precision but still kick ALOT of ass. its deffs worth the investment there. for wheels all i can say is good luck. test a bunch of em out. and just keep testing. and maybe one day youll find your perfect wheel. good luck. hope this helped and i wasnt just blabbin on and on

If you like drop throughs, get a drop through? Is there really any need to ask about it?

If you like drop-throughs I would recommend a Kebbek Smoothcut or Hairpin with either Crails or 42* Randal 180's.

alright so ive narrowed it down to these parts, but i dont know wat to chose so id appreciate some advice.

Deck:

landyachtz evo 11ply
Rayne hellcat
Insect Lightningbug
Insect Firefly

Wheels:
76 mm Landyachtz monster hawgs 80a
75mm Orangatang in heat 80a
70mm Orangatang for President 80a
75mm Seismic Avila 73a
77mm Seismic speed vent 79a (cuz its made of the special black ops urethane)
75 mm Retro bigzigs 77a

Trucks:
Bear Grizzly 1052's
Randal DH
Crail Speed Trucks

On the trucks I might change out the bushings for a more stable ride.... it depends

I know this is a lot of questions but any answers to anything would be helpfull but please dont answer if you havent used something.

Hellcat, Crails, and lemon or lime bigzigs would be the best setup in my opinion from your choices.
