i blew the doors off a van back in Windsor Forest (williamsburg), it was funny because the lady beeped at us before we started and was b!tching at us about something with her window up. i gave her and the kids a thumbs up as i passed. this was about 30mph, we've coasted the car down the same hill at 35+ and almost 40 into the bottom turn. she was a little more than amused after that i guess, she had a smile on her face and the kids had there faces pressed to the windows.

ive gone around 35-40 and that's really as fast as i feel like going once you pass 40 you can hardly make any turns and it is quite nervewracking.

yeah seeing as we do most of our serious bombing in residential williamsburg/yorktown it's mostly single lane neighborhoods with tight turns. corners at 40+ is still a little hectic for me, i've been tossed once or twice and walked away with minor (compaired to the road rash you'd expect being tossed on your side at 30-40mph) road rash and a sick, confused, feeling that usually goes away after i get to the top again. by sick feeling, i mean the cringing feeling you get when someone asks you if you're 'ok'...and you dont quite know how to answer that question yet. all you gotta do is learn, and you're never gonna do that if you don't go big. don't let it scare. just be safe, i always try to wear a lid, gloves, and my leather coat. im gonna go buy me some elbow pads on the way to the garage today.

thats a good thing about my fast roads they are relatively low trafficed. one goes to a trainstation and a dead end. just go between trains and you dont have to worry. the other goes to a beach through the bush that usually has maybe 1 or 2 cars on it. someone just waits at the bottom and asks the car to wait a moment untill the riders get down. then we hicth hike back up

the other thing down the bottom of that road is a cop training ground. the cops didnt care that was untill my mate stopped the head cop in charge. he had a huge ego and was an arsehole. we left after he spoke to us as i think he was going to get some on duty cops to arrest us.

i heard somewhere a guy imitating a police officer pulled over an off duty sergeant or something, and the sergeant made an off duty arrest after the 'officer' failed to show his badge.
