I think the thing with GPS is to have a number of runs. Bogus results definitely happen, but If you are getting consistent results then the readings are generally fairly accurate and the occasional bogus one will be obvious. The 103 mph reading mentioned for David Price is an obvious dodgy result. On the other hand K Rimes did numerous runs and achieved consistent results from the sounds of it. It also sounds like he excluded the odd suspicious reading. Thus I think his readings were accurate enough, and the same goes for the Brazilians in Teutonia - numerous runs at similar speeds, also backed up by motor scooter readings and the like.
