    i highle recommend these trucks
i have them on a 20-35 mph designate hellcat. desgnated for that speed due to flywheels (slippery around turns) NOT due to trucks....i must admit that i have not taken this board to 40 but that is because i have a designated board for that....with that said

    pros
split axle and i"rake" neutral kp inline with pivot makes for a stable truck that will turn with right bushing/deck/hanger angle for you
    great bushing seat
really sick innovative design that is just plain cool
    very light
    fits randal baseplates
    200mm wide
    not too exspensive
    AWESOME and flawless craftsmanship

    cons
the truck had to be mounted "topmount" on my hellcat so as not to get hanger bite
look like they could be "scetchy" with the big open hole.......my feeling is that looks r deceiving

now let me explain a few things here
even though i topmounted the trucks, i am NOT disappointed
the split axle makes the hangers prabably an inch(?) lower anyways and even with 80 flys the board does not sit too high for me
i have the hangers mounted on 42 randal front 35 back khiro double barrels (venoms r better)

also for ref let me tell u what i like
    stable truck
mostly tighter trucks than other guys (def for speed)
    hate stimz of any type
jimz trucks i do not like
    like r2s
love comps (have on my "speed board") for the geometry
have some kaha trucks on a nemesis that is a great ride but would take cindrich trucks to speed before these

    hope this helps

    edit
i am an actual skater and not a paid actor, do not know sandwich, and am in no way affiliated with him.....i just read his threads cuz his shhet is DOPE

They are flippable. but they have no offset. they will ride the same either way they are mounted.

And Thanks Ray for your info regarding your hangers.

I may be coming out with a 250mm hanger some day soon. What does anyone have to say about 250mm hangers?

250 hangars would really only be useful for luge. And even then maybe just back-end. I'm guessing they'd feel kind of restrictive... Some find 200mm to be that way already. Dunno how they'd find themselves in speedboarding.
I remember trying out 12" indy-style hangars on core baseplates with loose bushings and thinking "jeebus, i can't turn for hell"

So i'm not too familiar with precision trucks but what makes them so special? And let's say you were to just get some precision hangers and slap them on randal plates do they really make a difference? i see people have just precision baseplates setup with cast hangers or cast plates with precision hangers...

in my case running these hangers on randal plates gives me randal priced hangers and versatility with a split hanger (kingpin inline with axle) stability (geometry does this).
I can only speak for the hangers......light, good bushing seat, stable geom, lower, and they look bad a$$!!! (kinda future space ninja like)

my research (lol) sez that cnced hangers married to like hangers will provide less slop and make it even more stable.....

i am sure others will chime in also
    hope this helps

    ps
i am certainly NOT the fastest guy around so i am not an expert on speed, but i have been skating for 30 years if that qualifies me as any kind of expert

is thier any specific bushings you reccomend for these?

Although I make them, I'm not likely the person you want to have a review from. I can tell you that my axles are probably the strongest on the market to date, I have true 8mm axles, and I've also come out with a replacement 10mm axle. My axles screw in. I use 17-4 ph stainless steel, thats turned on a lathe, and then the hex, and one side of the thread is done in a mill. Then they are heat treated at 900 degrees for about 2 hours. That process of heating, is called precipitation hardening (hints the PH after the 17-4).
My hangers are 6061 t6 aluminum, 200 mm wide. I have a variety of base plates to choose from. 50, 45, 40, 35 degree, and an adjustable base plate, that has a range of 25-50 degrees for the king pin. Or you can use a standard Randal base, or you could use a Randal hanger and any of my bases. My base plates are also made from 6061 t6 aluminum.

As for a review, there are only a handful of dudes who have my trucks, off the top of my mind I can think of a few silverfish names, Razor tattoo, PMC, I know Dozerdoggy has a set, but I've not head anything from him. A dude from Spain Mark33 has four sets of my trucks.
Anyway I hope that may have helped

    TouHou story, in short:

    1) Kahalanis became commercially unavailable (basically high sales, low production...)
    2) American kid with a CNC comes along and makes TouHous, a Kahalani copy, to make the trucks once again available to the public. He does so more or less at-cost.
    3) Swedes get butthurt
    4) Internets get upset and whiney
    5) TouHous ran out of a 1-run deal and now Kahalani has made more trucks
    6) The Earth continues to spin

I've ridden both and they feel the same. Some Swedes have argued that Randal knockoffs are the same sort of story... But what's lacking is that Randals are and were readily available... Kahalanis were not. TouHous were filling a market gap. Knockoff Randals are just plain dangerous (to the rider... Not to Gravity/Randal)

I remember one of my teachers telling me once...
If you make something people like, and then take it away from them, someone else is gonna make it for you.

And if you're gonna neg rep me for this post (intarwebs fight) go ahead. None of the above is opinion. 'Cept that last bit of academic advice... And that's just the plain truth.

Not really surprised that a yank posted this. Don't mistake Kahalani with Randall, Dan and Mike own a small skate shop in Stockholm and barely make endsmeat.
While all you were whining about no kahas available in the US Dan and Mike weren't sitting on their asses doing nothing.
They run a skateshop (do you know how little money that gives in a place like sweden were we have winter 9 out of 12 months?), and developed the new gen kaha trucks.
Regardless anyone who supports knockoffs (ghengis, kaha, randall) are kooks and i won't ride with them.
And people who defend knockoff are kooks.

My trucks will always be available because I am the manufacturer, and I can make ten at a time, or just one, and I can make them when ever I need to. I don't do a production run like many people do, i pretty much make them to order.
I'll eventually come out with a new hanger that is less likely to get hanger bite. Probably more of the traditional looking hanger, same geometry as my current hangers, same bushing seat just less hanger bite.
