general maintenance for p trucks:
get yourself some stainless steel revive powder or cream . most hardware stores will have it.
after stripping down the truck dab it on and rub in then off with a dry rag.
this will take any scum build up away and the more you do it the shinier they get.
wipe out the bushing seats with an alcohol based cleaner to get rid of thane build up and or just the dirt that can get in there, try to stay away from oily or acid based cleaners or lube such as WD40 etc as any left in the bushing seats can react with the bushings.
On your axles once again use an alcohol based clearer and wipe off until dry. then rub down the axles only with a good machine oil this will prevent rust starting..
if there are any scratches that look light you can buff them out with 400/800 grade wet and dry sand paper . do this before you apply the stainless revive .
as for sphricals bearing ...lube regularly
this is a general approuch for maintenace that I use, others might like to add there tips.

precision trucks mostly effect cornering and how the truck handles in turns.

Careful, these guys will sell you on precisions. The real reason to buy them is to be like teh K-Rimes.
I know thats why I bought them...

re: CNC'd and Performance DH Trucks
So ive been getting an itch for some precisions on my hellcat. Ive been considering both kahalanis and smokeys. I realize that both these trucks are pretty different, in that smokeys have sphericals, and kahas have a bigger hanger, i am just curious if anyone has any personal testaments for either truck?

Note: Not from personal experience.
But I've heard that these trucks work best when topmounted because they are very low.
Just wondering if you thought of that.
The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.

re: CNC'd and Performance DH Trucks
Kooky's would be my pick for a drop through. not too low, and nice and wide. they are currently out of stock though, so i guess that doesnt really help :P

re: CNC'd and Performance DH Trucks
i have heard that they are super low, which is one reason why i was getting some opinions, I would love some confederates, but can you even find those anymore?

re: CNC'd and Performance DH Trucks
Quick question, if you have a 42 degree baseplate, is the king pin completely perpendicular to that angle?
