JimZ hangers have either heat treated steel axles, or regular steel axles and have an old school bolt pattern.

Smokies have a replaceable axle, but it is very difficult to do without the proper tools. They also have a small, steel pivot that replaced the older aluminum one that was only on the first run of trucks and have also replaced the pivot spherical with a steel, rather than plastic bearing.

I believe the Maguns were the first true precision truck available first. They were a little bit ahead of JimZ's. The Randal line (floaters) aren't CNC, so I wouldn't call them precision.

I would have guessed JimZ's. Didn't even think of Maguns.

    I ordered JimZ's. Pretty stoked.

Be stoked, cornering will never be the same. Let alone your ride.

JimZ have been produced 80a 82.5a and 85a.

I think all duro's have been poured in both colors too. so color in not necessarily an indicator of duro'.

If you read this Jim, white gray black.

As far as JimZ bushings I was going by his site: REPLACEMENT PARTS

Can anyone say if 204mm is the hanger width or the axle width for Kahalanis?

I was thinking of getting some Smokies for a Smoothcut. Can anyone give their opinion on dropping-thru Smokies? Are they best top mounted? Will there be clearance issues because of their low ride height?

Kahalanis are split axle, but the axles are not in line with the kingpin.

For the Record, Radikals are drilled old school and they do come with radikal bushings.
