After making the master list of beginner boards, trucks, and wheels I realized that I didn't know that much about high-end DH trucks and getting the info on them is sketchy at best so I thought I would make another master list. Hopefully it will be stickied as well.

I know I have left out a lot of info on these trucks as well as a lot of trucks. If you have any info to fill in the blanks, or have these trucks I would really appreciate your info on them and if you could take some measurements (such as hanger width). Please use the template above to fill in/correct any info and I will edit or have it edited accordingly.

JimZ hangers have either heat treated steel axles, or regular steel axles and have an old school bolt pattern.
Smokies have a replaceable axle, but it is very difficult to do without the proper tools. They also have a small, steel pivot that replaced the older aluminum one that was only on the first run of trucks and have also replaced the pivot spherical with a steel, rather than plastic bearing.
I believe the Maguns were the first true precision truck available first. They were a little bit ahead of JimZ's. The Randal line (floaters) aren't CNC, so I wouldn't call them precision.
so i got a hellcat for christmas, and i was wondering, can i drop smokies through?

I would have guessed JimZ's. Didn't even think of Maguns.

I was thinking of getting some Smokies for a Smoothcut. Can anyone give their opinion on dropping-thru Smokies? Are they best top mounted? Will there be clearance issues because of their low ride height?

Re: CNC'd and Proformance DH Trucks
Kahalanis are split axle, but the axles are not in line with the kingpin.
