    Default Juniors

Here's a glimpse of the future competition... Kebbek ought to like the board in front. That's the Caften that James West won for being the youngest racer (14) at the Rio Bravo Time Trial. All three of these lads are under 15, and they're all stoked for speed. James will be representing TimeShip at Breck. See you there.

I'll take a guess that all the equiptment is part of OD's skate school.

    I wish I'd had JC as a teacher when I was 14.

Their "equipment" consists of pads and helmets...

As I said before, James won his deck in a race (riding an S9 borrowed from Palmer). The other longboards are either Skate School loaners, or one of my personal boards.
The third kid back just used some of his savings to buy a Dregs Classic complete. He and #2 are going to start commuting to school by longy this year.
James' dad is very behind his racing and got him a set of used leathers. We picked them up from a luge-dude who was clearing out his garage, and James got them for $150.

BH; that flat spot is the valley between two short runs. The other side is a bit mellower and we set cones on it. We haven't started taking them to the long hills... yet.

    That's Carlos. He's 10.

Did they start on the hill at the same time or did they go one after eachother? Because they're pretty spread out. No drafting fun...

Don't speak too soon. 3 guys came into my work today to try and sell homemade longboards. I had a stand on them, superflexy, nice shapes (drop carve-style without the drop through) and they will start using better wood when they can. Turns out they luge too, but when I told them how fast i get and where I go, they were in awe. I felt so big. haha

its scary that for australia we are very good riders isnt it raven. sure there is a small group of really good riders but there are so many newbees and very few experienced riders.
