which are better? and do pogo baseplates fit the jimz's? list all the pros and cons of each? if you are wondering what board it will be a demonseed with fly wheels. also list other presicion trucks i know about magun and kalahani. and i looked on landyatchz and it said $280 does this mean 280 per truck?

d0000000d do a little more research. but for that board jimmyZ's would be way better. but srsly research the pro's and con's of each cause i know there is a crazy amount of information on the internet that you can answer this question by yourself.

Yes, Pogo's do fit JimZ hangers, Smokies are really low lots of people like to take advantage and top mount them, but drop through is work-able and some people love it. and jimZs I really dont know much about but im pretty sure they rip too

If you're asking about which precision trucks to get, you're not ready for them. save your money, buy some leathers and a fullface, work on your skill with your current gear.

I see guys ridding percision that cant handle it. If you ever have trouble with speedwobble, I mean at all if you set foot on these trucks you will probably get more wobble cuase of the sphericals. Gotta have super stable ankles to pull off sphereical bearings

Ok if you're just "curious" realize this. Not one precision truck is better or worse than another they are DIFFERENT. personally out of the options, I would go with jimz's that's based off my experience, but others might argue that smokies are better. My personal preference are randals, and some people hate randals. It's all what fits your riding style. So please instead of taking up bandwidth with useless posts like you are, go out and ride, see what you like session with some people in your area, maybe a few have some precision trucks you can try them out and see what fits YOUR riding style. Basically what I'm saying is don't ask stupid questions.

For the Demonseed I would get the JimZ trucks but for any top mount I would get the Smokies just because they're lower. Unless you're getting the JimZ with Pogos then they're probably pretty similar, in which case I would get the JimZ.

That was strictly between the two you posted. My dream precision set up is Pogo plates with Magun hangers.

well the whole point of the maguns is to be dropped, and the baseplates are made with wider holes so the wood holds up better, so pogos would be defeating the purpose of the trucks. my dream setup would be maguns with an XL hellcat.


well anyway, like reece said, smokies are real low and good for topmounts because it makes your whole setup a whole lot lower. JimZs are pretty tall and long, so they would be pretty good dropped on a D-seed

i dont like either too much. jimz over smokies for sure, but still. you dont want to run Jimz in their plates on a board that isn't wedged in the front. on a d-seed pogos 42* with jimz would be pretty good. very low. might be worth also investing in some rbros dropthru risers. definitely do a LOT more research before you decide though. search function. as for which trucks exist, magun, kaha, kooky, confed (good luck getting a set of those), fux (also rare) and some weird ones that im not sure ever made it out like spongys. remember, YOU DONT NEED THESE TRUCKS. people will do what they want, but i seriously recommend leathers before this kind of stuff. comfort going fast and a bit of help if you fall will improve your riding more then some beautiful trucks. for trucks though i personally reccomed waiting and seeing what the next run of kookys look like, and going with them or kahas.

I'm just basing this on what I've read on this site. I don't actually have any experience riding precision so I apologize for not stating that.

Going from what everyone said the topmounts (like pogos) grip a lot better but I like low boards compared to higher boards (that I actually have felt the difference between). So it just seems like a low topmount is the way to go.

the reason topmounts grip more are based on height. there are other factors of course, but pogos lower topmounted boards and decrease grip. i think that kookys have a perfect ride height for topmounts, its just a little scary because sometime it feels like your on stilts
