You know what I mean.

???
From all the "points", you listed before, namely Chris being a "liar", a "poser" and a kook" not a single one justifies, by any means this kind of attack.
He is all three and on the off chance he actually tries this stunt he will fail big time and for the reasons I mentioned. That's not an "attack." That is plain common sense.

Re: My upcoming 100mph attempt
Yeah but instead of you offering your unneeded and douchebag remarks, you could have told the OP what he needs to do to reach his goal and make his attempt a successful one. The only posts I ever see of yours are ones where you probably think you are being witty and clever, but in reality you are just being an ass.

I stand corrected. But I still stand by what I said, you are not going to help grow or develop this sport at all by flaming people who have set goals that are beyond them. Cause someday it won't be beyond them and it's more important to focus on that to help grow the stoke!

Very well put. I'm not sure why people who are negitive often decide they are the only true realists in the world and are thus a bucket of never ending wit and humour.

OK. Here's my advice (learned the hard way I might add) on getting towed behind a car on a skateboard. Don't do it. The physical dynamics of the situation, which I have noted, make it a non-starter.
You guys saying "go for it", "live your dream" blah, blah, blah, are equivalent to the sort of folks who scream "JUMP!" when they see some poor soul threatening to hurl themselves off the roof of a building.

Re: My upcoming 100mph attempt
Ok dude, go for it, just be prepared and aware of EVERY possible situation, learn how to fall correctly, get maguns, srsly, just know that you could fall and die, now good luck, PUSH YOUR LIMITS WITH THE RIGHT SAFETY MEASURES!!

We all love dramatizations but you can`t equate taking a slide at 100mph down a road in leathers to jumping off a building.

Re: My upcoming 100mph attempt
Those are 2 different scenarios and don't try to strengthen your argument by comparing them.
Yes of course it's dangerous, no one said it wasen't.
But what I am saying is that if he feels it is realy something he would like to accomplish then he should prepare a little more for it work out the proper procedure and give it a try. Just try and minimize the risks. What you are doing is belitling him without provocation.
You are taking cheap shots and it is not good for your character, I think you are the kind of person that turn noobs away from the sport. You had a chance like the rest of us to offer constructive criticisme instead of killing stoke.

Actually by looking at the fatality rates for street riders of high performance sport bikes (AKA "squids"), I can and did.

Re: My upcoming 100mph attempt
Magun is not a truck its a Phenomenon.
Its you coming to accept that you don't need them because you dont ride fast enough to own a set.
OR
Its you proving yourself worthy to own a set by skating fast enough.

Re: My upcoming 100mph attempt
I think this whole idea is kind of lame. I mean it's just a tow...Not just you and the board.
it won't really be a record. Imagine a Mazda Miata land speed record but the car is being accelerated by a jet plane. The "record" doesn't really have as much holding to it.

Re: My upcoming 100mph attempt
I wonder if he's just doing this to be on the cover of ConcreteWave Magazine?
Mike Brooke said he'd put anyone on the cover who would break 100mph on a skateboard.
