Your not gonna stop someone from doing something by putting them down. You have to relate to them and not talk to them like there stupid.
Your not interested in stopping him from doing this, if you were you would of had a different approach. Your more interested in flaming some guy who had idea that wasn't fully developed.

And I don't have to give you any respect either since you seem to think that there is some technical advice that will help him achieve his goal. There is not, or at least not on anything resembling a skateboard and run on his local roads.

Regardless of if this goal is feasible. Putting him down is not going to make him listen to you and stop this stunt. I am not saying he should do it, I'm saying that if he decides to. That he should take quite a few extra measures to insure his safety and the safety of the people around him.
What your doing is not helping anyone here who is trying to bring forth a real argument to try and convince him it's not a good choice. It is just flaming. I would personally ignore what your saying because not once does it try to be helpful. It's just another excuse for you to spew hate.
