I'm wondering what the plan is if a car pulls out in front of the car you're getting towed by, especially if there is oncoming traffic at the same time. In the video transitioned just posted they have a full size rear door open which if you aimed for it right (after sudden braking) might be the difference between injury and death. Good luck and don't do it.

I think going straight to braking would be a terrible idea. The car is going to be experiencing a lot more drag than him. The driver would need to very slowly let off the gas. If the driver took his foot off the gas pedal at 100mph, the longboarder would hit the back of the car and be knocked off of his board. If he did any sort of braking as well, the longboarder would feel like he hit a brick wall, and that's before he goes ragdolling across the ground at 100mph.

Oh and I forgot to mention. YOU'RE REPLACING BUSHINGS WITH WASHERS. That's ####### moronic and straight up stupid; I hope you heed my advice. You won't be able to turn, if the board does start to shake at all, you won't be able to correct yourself, that's a good reason to believe you're not experienced. If you were experienced, then you'd have enough common sense to set up some sort of safety. For example, REAL bushings, closed road, paramedics standing by, professional driver so you're friend won't #### up. There's a lot to consider and although you say you've been thinking and planning, you've only been thinking. You havn't done research and yes. We CAN tell. Flatwashers for bushings is not smart, this idea is not smart. Stop now before you completely mess it up for speedboarders. WE are so pissed, because you wouldn't only kill yourself most likely, you mess it up for speedboarders worldwide. We have a reason to be mad.

You probably should have made a video that would make you look like a better downhill skateboarder at least. If you thought washers instead of bushings was a good idea than you don't know what you are doing from the start. I don't want to discourage you from riding but just compare how you look in your video to how the guys who do have names ride. When you watch them you can just see how comfortable they are riding fast and it's really an awesome thing to watch but you look like every other kid on silverfish bombing a local hill who has all this stuff and has never been over 50 down a hill. Save your money and go to events and learn how to skate for real rather than going for an unofficial record attempt with what seems like not much knowledge or experience about what you are doing.

    +1 to that!

We dont even know if you're just hoaxing us or not.
Show us a video of you going 85.
Show us some better posture during your downhill stances.
I honestly can't believe you're going to use that wobbly "noobish" stance when you're going 100.
Obviously with it you're going to fall.
Even pro's fall with almost perfect stances going 55-60.

laying in bed after surgery sucks, dont do it, you dont have enough expierence. I know this from that stupid washer thing you want to do. laying in a coffin would suck worse.

Hahaha I got the lulz after that "trailer". Rockstar much?

IMO, don't do this. You're putting all the hard work people have put forth to make longboarding what it is today all at risk. The image you would portray to the mass public if #### hit the fan woudn't be pretty. Judging from your video, you aren't ready to ride up at 100mph. You were going a fraction of the speed that you want to achieve. Think about it nice a hard, cause if you ####ed up, you ####ed up for the rest of us. That's pretty damn selfish.

Good luck. Hope those leathers and helmet are up to snuff. Street Bikers crash at super high speeds quite a bit and come out marginally okay. Just dont fall from a straight up standing position.

i vote randal dh baseplates with luge hangers just incase your bearings sieze. sized bearin + 100mph = death.
    +1. Great advice.
I've only hit 52, and twice that speed seems like it would be uncontrollable, for me of course. Good luck to ya. Can't wait to see the video.
Edit: I just watched your trailer. You better hope some farm animal doesn't decide to meander lazily across the road.

well, i wanna see you make it, but i dont wanna see you try it
if you do fall, try to fall low and slide instead of falling from your tuck and rolling
i really really hope you make this and are ok

I would be worried worried that much about that...
Worst case scenario, he'll crash, get BIG road rash since he doesnt have leathers and a few skin transplant later he'll be back. Did the same thing when I started longboarding (without the skin transplant lol) and i survived. You gotta be stupid when you're young.
And well, it would be funny to see a 17 year old kid beat what Biker Sherlock couldnt do no

    so my personnal advice?
Stay behind the car ALL THE TIME. Let the car break the wind for you or else you will just fly away.
Like LB1 said, it can be pretty funny airbreaking at 60mph... but at 90 or a 100, you would literaly fly lol

    Good luck!
