this is gonna sound stupid, but I need it to be under 30 thats why I have an abused deck add
keep saving, 30 is gonna get you a deck that will last for 1 maybe 2 sessions. or offer up some stuff for trade. or buy a popsicle deck and mount the trucks on the nose/tail

if I mount my paris 180s and my durians on a popsicle, would it work to learn slides, and handle speed?
yes, it can slide. my friend has a setup with randal dhs and he slides it and takes it up to 30ish. youll probably need to dewedge it because the nose and tail will change the angle of the trucks.

thats probly what i'll do for now, if anyone wants to sell me a deck in any condition for dirt cheap, tell me
if you have a reg. skate deck just use that and mount the trucks on the nose and tail. ive takin it up to like 26-29ish with gullwing mission1's and i learned how to slide on it also
Can you share your impressions of how those durians ride? I have a DS and am mulling a similar setup...
these are pretty much everything i wanted in the ideal wheel. fast roll speed, easy to kick out for standies, smooth as butter, and pretty smooth rolling when just cruising around.
when i first got these i thought that they were gonna be really rough because they are 86a. they definitely aren't bigzigs, but they're for sure smoother than say, retro freerides of the same duro.
these things allowed me to learn how to heelside standup 180 in half an hour. all in all, great freeride/slide wheel that can be very versatile, and are great for learning new stuff.

I'm using 215's now good lord I didn't realize how much more drift there was gonna be. I'm waiting on core baseplates, instead of these stage 7 or whatever. The hangers are stage 10 though.
Drop through'd Indys are so slidey it's stupid. I'm honestly thinking about switching to Paris or something on my FSM. It's just nuts. But probably not.

it would be alot better if you swapped out the front baseplate for a 35
just sayin' so you don't trade out a great deck without messing around with it more

I'm sure you could have learned the 180 on any wheel. Don't give credit to the Orangatangs, give it to yourself.

I have Indys on my production deck and Randal 180s on the prototype, ready to go either way depending on what I feel like doing.
