Default Quickie about the Evo!

Couldn't find this by using thee almighty search button!
I'm going to buy an Evo soon, but i have a little problem.
II weight about 121 lbs, and i dunno what bushings i should have. I have a spare set of randalls which I'm gonna use.
The thing is, I'm going to use it for both DH and some carving.
I'm also going to bomb this crazy garage, It's a constant tight left turn for like 10 stories. I want to be able to turn pretty good !
So, what bushing should I get? Red Khiros?
Cheers

Leave the randal bushings in there. Ran them on my friends chinook and they felt fine to me. Reds seem stiff if you decide to go khiro. They are for me and I have 40 pounds on you. Maybe blues?

Khiros suck compared to some of the available option..
get some venoms , orange landys , jimz's , or karrot bushings ect. Bushings can really make a ride what it is , stop boring yourself with dead feeling khiros.

I would get jimz if they are the 50 degree randals, or some Karrot Barrels.

Red Khiros sounds too hard for 130lbs IMO, that`s what I`m running in my DH trucks, and I`m 160.... Try something softer, and/or even try a little riser to gain a little more leverage.

If you are going to use randall II 180 trucks then the bushings they are stock with should be fine. If you are going to use bear trucks the red khiro are pretty stiff ,go one softer than red. IMO. I use a big barrel on both sides of hanger for quicker return to center. A friend suggested this and I now do it on all my boards w/ bear trucks. I have Evo for 6 months now and when I intro people to downhill speed I let them ride the Evo because of it's stability. I weigh 190.

Pistol pete has some good suggestions on bushing set ups. You might try some of the new pumpkin bushings by bear. I've looked at htem at our supplier Texas Longboards, and they seem pretty soft. Also the evo does not have much if any flex depending on your weight. It flexes a tiny amount compared to no flex on my Demonseed. If you want a lively deck try something with less plys of material.

Nooooooo khiros.
Jimz's are over hyped , nice and all , better than khiros.. but try mixing them with abec/reflex bushings (karrots) , landy pumpkins , venoms , ect..
