i like dh and ive been trying to improve it but i wld like to know when is good to buy a racing suit , now ive just reach like 40 miles so is it better to wait until i reach other speeds or get it now?
I definitely waited (almost) too long to buy mine. It wasn't TOO late because I didn't ever fall at 50 mph (which is what I had hit without leathers), but it was definitely stupid. No full face either. Get a full face first, then leathers as soon as you can if you are going 40+ consistently.

just don't be the scumbag of your group who wears leathers going like 25. then taking pictures of yourself, and try to look all pro. people will hate on you.

Yeah. I already hate you (ambiguous usage of "you" — not directed specifically at anyone).

I would say get leathers as soon as you start actually cornering. It is rare to need your leather on straight runs, but the majority of falls happen cornering, especially when you're new to it. With leathers, a lot of crashes that would put you out for a week are reduced to nothing but a scuff. Also, when turning, you are already low to the ground, so when you fall, its easy to anticipate it, and do some damage control and end up just sliding on your suit.

I'm beginning to hit 65 kmph on good runs (With corners) do you think it's quite necessary yet. Or should I be alright with a full face and pads, or do you think that I'll need leathers pretty soon.
Another option is just buying a leather Jacket for now. How's that as an idea?
