Why you should use velro on slide gloves!
I was learning not to highside or overdrift backside drifts (focusing a lot of my weight onto my arm) at around 30ish on a 90 turn onto another street friends spotting of coruse, and theres a huge piece of pavement chunked and crap on the inside line which I naturally was riding even though I meant to take it wide. So I put my hand down... clean fun little slide when "ahhhh" I see the huge layer of pavement missing and I go to lift my hand but not in time....
Snap, My glove gets snapped back a little but luckily my puck just fell off. I controlled the board just fine around the rest of the corner... but who knows what could've happened if I had chose to wear my junker gloves the are glued/bolted to the semi tight gardener gloves. Broken arm, wrist, dislocated shoulder, plus I would've fallen off my board at mid speed.
Now instead all I got was a little chunk off my pucks. Lesson learned.
Never thought of having my puck get caught on the road...I use velcro because eventually you will need to change out the pucks. Easy to replace them...pain in the butt to make new gloves.

ya velcro is a good idea i was hitting a corner and my puck hit a raised drain and just about broke my thumb.
