Default What DH board should I get...

O.K., here is the situation im in. Ive been skating for a while now and im just starting to get into DH. Ive been looking at the nemesis, and it looks like it would be a nice board for me. Also ive been looking at the demonseed, hellcat, chinook, and drop speed. Any recomondations? Im not going too fast( > 40Mph) but you never know how fast i might end up going. Help anyone?

I personally would suggest a Hellcat with 42 randals.

So you want a topmount? or do you want a drop deck, or a flushmount?

I probably want something low to the ground for stability... if thats correct, i would like drop through or flushmount. And i like the drop down when i ride my buddies evo.

Nemesis, flipped 1040 bears, 83 mm 78 A flywheels.

Fap fap fap. 39 inches of drop-centered, drifty heaven.

or, if you want grip, zigs.

lol, i highly recommend the nemesis. it's fairly low to the ground, got the nice double humps cuz of the tiny bit of drop to lock ur feet in real nice. feels really stable, drfits/slides when needed. all in all a solid board.

and for people who say it's too short for seirous dh, the wheelbase is actually longer than the hellcat's

For once, i agree with georges on this one. I love my nemesis. Mines super low, 2 inches. I have a ton of foot room at 6'2 and the concave is very comfy.

What is your setup? Mine is three inches off of the ground, but I run giant flywheels.

Also, what would you think of powerballs on this board?

gen 1 nemesis on my homemade trucks with 75mm wheels.

If my measuring is right they are the lowest trucks around right now.

I see. Precision trucks, 1st gen flush mount, and smaller wheels.

Those are beautiful trucks, what brand are they? I've never seen those before, but I'm ignorant of expensive down hill trucks.
