Updating time...

I'm currently in the process of updating the Beginner DH list. /cry

First off, boards will no longer have to be less than $150 USD due to the ever-rising cost of DH equipment. Second, only boards that are still being produced will be included (no Big Red X or Chicago Longboards). Third, where do I stop?

What are some board companies that you would like to see which are not currently on the list?
Thus far I have added Ladera, Fullbag, and will be adding Madrid, CLB and BRX have been removed. Should I list larger custom makers i.e. Subsonic and Longboard Larry? Should I list small custom makers i.e. Roggs?

What else can I do to improve it?
Do you want to see board construction? Standing platforms? Concave? Footnotes? Help.

I think foot notes of a short description of the board would be good and listing concavess and concave types. can you link the list to me?

It would be extra work (probably too much for how helpful it would be), but you could put in links to helpful threads that talk about the different boards.

Compataibilty chart thats floating around somewhere on here for trucks, even though it includes percision things, it would be nice to see in there. Also what kind of drilling the board has, new school, old school, custom, etc. Also just throwing in some basic terms for people that are new to the sport can find easily, quick explainations of what drafting is, drifting, the differnt tucks, etc. Just my two cents.

definitely list the small guys as well. The boards are little cheaper and as high quality or higher than the larger companies.

Pessure Drop Should be in the mix as well.

I also vote for the smaller builders, Roggs, Dopamine, Arcane and others have quality wares and customer service.

Ask builders to supply info via pm and you should be on your way.

The last guide was a worthwile read, I look forward to the revision.
