Default R2 lowering?

this is more of a set up question more then about technique i have the r2 180s in my rayne dseed i flipped the hangers to make it lower and more downhill suitable, but today i realized the the bushings are smaller on the top so i put the smaller one on the bottom of the kingpin between the hanger and the base but i am having trouble finding out the difference. can you help me out here guys

running a top on the bottom lowers the pivot axis, but it also pushes the hanger out of alignment with the pivot cup.

I'd recommend adding something inbetween the board and the baseplate instead.
you can alter the axis there as well by angling the baseplate compared to the board.

Wedging drop-through boards works the opposite way. (sort of)

Other than that it's identical to this.

Don't take it too low though, you'll run into problems with the board hitting the ground when turning, and you'll lose a lot of traction.

Dont mess with bushing height on randals. It makes the pivot misaligned and you will experience increased pivot cup wear in addition to loss in performance. I really don't know why you would want a d-seed to be more "downhill suitable." The deck is pretty much purpose built for conquering the biggest downhill you can think of. If you did succeed in making it lower you would just end up with traction problems and weird hammocky turning.
