im having a hard time deciding whether i should get speed vents or big zigs. going to be doing alot of dh using a rayne hellcat and some paris 180s (if any one has a suggestion on better trucks that would be helpful too)
any thoughts?
thanks
I was also wondering the same thing. How do the drifts compare? (for reference the only bigzigs I've used are pinks) specifically I'm looking at the sky blue or purple black ops.
To the op, I like my bigzigs a lot. Smooth and fast. As for trucks, Paris aren't the best dh trucks, but flip the hangers and put in good bushings, the'll perform as well as similarly equipped 50* randals. They'll work for while your just getting started.
To the
randal 42 degree are cheap and will get the job done. so will the grizzlys, its up to you. or if your up to spending the little extra money you can by crails.
Speed vents. Better drift in my opinion. I don't care that bigzigs drift well after breaking in, I still like speed vents a lot more. Faster and better control.

To the
im pretty sure paris's have neutral caster.... flipping them does nothing. but i might be wrong

Paris hangars can be flipped. I would personally run a 35degree randall baseplate in the back and a 42degree baseplate in the front and run paris hangers. i would also get the bigzigs because seismic is notorious for mis pours where it doesn't make a huge difference -40mph when you go over 50mph it feels like your board is vibrating. personally i would not take the risk. Lime bigzigs ftw
