fixxed it...............That part of Tantalus is a lot of fun, narrow, wet, dirty, rough as hell in places but still fun, the other side is in my opinion better

You can pretty much just tuck the whole run only the second hard right do you really have to drift.
Dont be scared! Just take the first run slow, stand up and dont tuck. When you feel confidant then start tucking.
Or you can be crazy and just fly it like I did.
weeeeeee
HOLY CRAP KJ?!!?
you guys are gonna do em?
get some helmet and gloves first dude..
+1
i've skated this road quite a few times, and its one of the best.
but, its also the place where ive had most of my crashes.
you should really think about getting a helmet, and definitely gloves.
the last time i fell there my helmet saved my chin/jaw
my full face is scratched up on the chin part where i hit the pavement at 35-40mph.
dont let this scare you though. wear a lid and pads, and have fun out there.
like someone else said, just stand up the first several runs, then start tucking.
once again, have fun. its such a sick run.
they repaved the other side.... its an epic skate
mauna is fun
you might need to footbrake once by the guard rail, but other than that, just tuck and go
haha yah jeff its KJ, I got gloves and a helmet. I made gloves this week, and I got a helmet with my pay check this week. so yah thanks for the advice and wish me luck, I am super worried about the "death" turn.
and if I make it tomorrow i'd be down for it again if any one wants to go.
