I notice a lot of people want a Sector 9 Race deck. People tell them to chop a Bomb Hills. A Dregs Alpine deck is VERY similar to the S9 Race. Same concave, same nose shape, same placement of the front wheel wells. The Alpine is just slightly thicker, not really noticeable.
It was raining today so I used jigsaw, sander, and drill to cut my Alpine and make a clone of my S9 Race.
Im going to have to say its the same concave too. the alpine and the dreggs race board have the same concave, and i have had the dreggs and my s9 race deck and they have the exact same concave, i dont think it would be a leap to say they are made in the same press.
they aren't made in the same press or mold as the s9 race...figure in the biker owns dregs, and s9 doesn't want anything to do with them...the s9 race in question, the 42' was shaped and developed with danny connor's feedback...

s9 and dregs boards are made in the same factory sparky

you're the first person i've heard to vehemently deny any connection between s9 and dregs
I rounded them out pretty well since I have an electric sander (or whatever you call those things that vibrate really fast with sand paper on the bottom). I didn't really care too much though because I got this deck for cheap and I plan on thrashing it. The Sector 9 deck is rounded a lot on the bottom edge, making it appear much thinner. But when you pinch the two to compare, there really isn't much different in thickness.
Also, my feet or body cannot tell the difference between the two decks. At all.
One reason I forgot to mention that I think the Dregs Alpine is much more similar to the Race deck (besides shape) is that the top edges are not rounded out. On a Bomb Hills deck the top edges are rounded.
