I have an idea about the testing. It would be cool if there were 10 people giving feedback on the board that skate various terrain. I want to propose a Comet test pilot program for this board.
Step 1 would be create 10 prototypes for the contributors of this thread / volunteer test pilots.
(((delivery would be 2 weeks after start date)))
Step 2 would be 2 weeks of extensive riding.
Step 3 would be gather another round of feedback based on the skating / performance of the boards.
Step 4 would be create the final shape / flex / wheel base etc and apply final graphic + name and launch the board based on the extensive testing and input from all.
In summary:
Each of the 10 test pilots would get:
1 board to test and keep.
1 of the first 10 boards made signed /10 to ride.
(2 boards total)
1 test pilot t shirt
1 set of wheels to shred (to make sure the proto board is getting ridden to its fullest)
To make this program possible the cost would be $150 per person.
The goal of this program is to confirm the interest of this community and make sure the board is perfect. In doing so we want to make sure the test pilots are rewarded for their efforts and we are creating the ultimate board. How does this program sound? Fair? Who is into stepping up?
We want to start the mold ASAP. We can have prototypes out two weeks after the start date. So if 10 people sign up tmrw, they will skating protos by Feb 3.
Peace
We have 2 test pilots signed up - Thanks Blix and Nick. 8 more?
hmmm...sounds cool. I'll think it over.

I`m super stoked. Ever since I got my Hellcat, I have been thinking, what if I had a smaller, lighter similar board for anything "freeride", that would rock! A perfect stander machine
I think that we might be at 10. I am going to send out an email in a few for how to finalize participation and we are ready to get started.
So this is last call - for anyone else who wants in...
If you dont get an email from me by the morning shoot me an email. Prototypes are due to be ready by Feb 6.
Lets keep developing the other aspects of the board...
This rocks - There is a bunch of art on skateboards at Comet Skateboards | About Comet
Is there any style that looks like a good starting point. We can also ask Nat the current graphic person to work something out...or who has some design skills...?
Names???
