Idea: Put the Mayan Unity Symbol in the middle of the cometogether logo. I don't know how it would look, just testing the waters.

Here are some pics of the board. There has been progress on the stain but nothing to show yet...

The wells are functional with some big wheels no problem.

the platform is an inch larger with some xtra width and up turn on the corners.

also the corners of the platform are wider ... to accommodate various foot positions.

you can kinda see the outline of the former shape on the top down pic.

We are going to be mounting a bunch more with all sorts of trucks... and report back on how all that is working...

The more trucks we make work with this board the larger the drop area gets...hmmm i may have come up with an invention... more on that later.

That looks SICK. Definitely noticed the extra platform length right off, sounds nice. Can't wait to shred it!

i have a hairpin. and even though the dimensions may be the same. this board is by far superior. When it isn't 12:30 thursday night, and i don't have a thermo test tomorrow at 9 am, i will explain the differences.

Shape is way sick looking. Defiantly an improvement on an already great board. Might look like a hairpin but doesnt ride like one.

just went to kebbeks website and checked the hairpin...
nice looking board...

the boards are a lot different in perimeter shape from what i can tell....

1. the hairpin has a continuous radius sidecut. / the comet fsm has sided cut starting 4 inches from the corners so that you have the width of a foot in the wide spot....

concave...
2. the fsm is rockered and hairpin is straight...flat cave looking...

platform..
3. it appears that the fsm has at least an inch or maybe 2 inch longer platform with wheel wells.

mounts..
4. the drop mount is different - what trucks does that extra opening in the nose and tail accommodate? that might be a good idea for the fsm???

i was hoping to have the fsm work with as many trucks as possible... its amazing how little material you have left when you do that .... kinda scary but i guess fine

i was just looking at pics for those observations but i have never seen one in person so maybe they are more similar.. any test pilots have both boards that can elaborate?

The Hairpin has a bit of camber.
The concave of the Hairpin is absurd which is sometimes a blessing and sometimes a curse (especially if you have small feet)

I think the extra openings are for bears. I have bears mounted on my Hairpin at home so I can tell you when I get home.
