not needed. flusmount makes it not even necesary, which also makes them a little heavier and a little more solid. less flex.

My FSM came in the mail today!

The good:
Good solid construction.
The concave and rocker feel great
perfect length and foot space ( could be smaller by about 1/4-1/2" on both sides for more wheel options )

The bad:
Didnt come with the marker
Doesnt feel like there is much finish on the board ( due to being the marker version ? )
The stain looks A LOT lighter than it does on the site. Looks more pastel
The site says same day shipping. I ordered it last Sunday and payed extra for the 3-day shipping. It arrived today ( almost 1.5 weeks later )

with the stain.... it isn't your normal high-gloss polyurethane spray finish, it is environmentally friendly, and it is coated, just not to other company standards... almost all comet boards seem "not finished" but in reality they are.

the stain may vary by how many coats they use. It's fun to change it up.

make some darker, some lighter, this way, each one is unique.

The decks are always only available on the comet site, but i think MHS should have some completes stocked soon-ish

If I remember correctly, TNT now stocks FSMs.
I haven't seen them any other place besides the site and there, however.

slide like #### as in good or bad lol. If bad then get the drifters, they are also cheaper. if by #### you mean good then it depends if you want the more grip the lemons give you

they just have a very chattery slide sometimes and an ok slide other times. i go fast to the point of speed wobbles and i just slide like 10 feet.

throw your weight around more and commit I love the way my lemon zigs slide so i bet freerides are even better

just switched from Lemon Freerides to Otang Stimulus (My gf bought em for my bday). Not much of a difference between the two except maybe a wider contact patch on the otangs. Heres a pic of the board with the Lemon Freerides

If i said no I would be lying lol. Out of the box I was able to do stand ups. The come pre broken in so you do not have to worry about sliding them a lot to wear them down. But the difference between the stimulus and broken in Freerides is very little. One thing though the stimulus matches the FSM very very nicely.
