This one was mine, sold it a couple weeks after as i broke my scafoid and had a full cast for 6 months, never actually got to ride that board.....

does s9 even make race decks anymore or did they stop? i dont see why they'd stop since everyone creams thier jeans when one is mentioned and theyre not sold in stores so its not like just anyone can get ahold of one...

im thinkin bout buying one but cant decide. I want a shorter deck (because i have a TINY tuck), but a longer wheelbase (which is why i want a topmount instead of a dropthru).

I'm riding a smoothcut now and love it but with it was a little shorter, but with the same wheelbase, which can only be accomplisehed on a topmount. thats why i was looking at a 38" s9 race, but the wheelbase on the 42" s9 race is even smaller than the smoothcut!

wait, you want a shorter deck, but longer wheelbase so youre looking at a topmount?

a topmount is the opposite. it will give you a shorter wheelbase with the same standing platform as a larger deck

yeah i dont understand. how does a topmount achieve that while maintaining the same wheelbase. if anything the deck will seem larger,

they feel awesome, stable yet turny, most of all they are pretty good at doing things exactly as i want them to. the only thing i dont like about my board is the short wheelsbase, but thats generally not a problem since i dont get the point of riding super straight runs.

after riding the kaha's on an s9 race i'm convinced there's no other truck to put on that board, i mean seriously...sooo smooth

the 42 version is way too long IMO, the 38 inch one feels no much tighter. rode one with touhous.
