Lol i weigh like 140 lbs. And scared to manual my dervish cause i think i will break the nose/tail, would i break it at my weight?

I'm 195lbs and I was popping wheelies on mine today. I do see how you could be concerned. It does seem fragile. I'm just getting used to the small ass noses. It took a few tries for me to get them right on a dervish. I thought I was going to break mine and i said to myself, "one way to find out!" It didn't break. I still feel like i'm going to break it lol. Only had it 2 days now. Shovits are frisky on them.

Anyone put grip on their trucks? I may need too... Or I could re-sole my shoes. My longboarding shoes are worn out from foot breaking.

First of all, a normal failed manual or nose manual attempt shouldn't break a Dervish. It's not some kind of violent trick nor is the Dervish super weak, unless in bad condition already.

Secondly, you only weigh 140 lbs so you're not crushing the Dervish anyways, and if you messed up a manual you wouldn't be falling on it, you'd probably just eat pavement while the Dervish runs away.

At most you would just start to scratch up the ends, so if at that point when you finally decide to try the tricks out, you could consider buying Bombsquad noseguards (1 or 2) to protect your Dervish's ends.
