    Default G Turn help?

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. I've been longboarding for about a year. Anyway...

I have been trying to get down a G turn on my Loaded Dancer lately and I can't get past a 270 degree pivot...for some reason I can't keep the board spinning. Can anyone help with this? The board is 55 inches with a pretty big nose and tail for anyone who doesn't know. This has been pissing me off forever, thanks to anyone who can help

hurr it is: remember to swing your shoulders in the circular motion, and always stay ahead of your board. dont do the 180 pivot until after youve nose manualed the entire uturn. just keep practicing and eventualy you will get it.

aaaaaaand im really frikkin jealous of the loaded dancer

dont wind up your shoulders, do it like a long turning nose manual instead. just practice. having the right amount of speed helps too. too fast you fall forward, too slow you wont make it.

he's right. its like a turning manual and then at the end when there's no more speed move your hips and arms to get out a couple more degrees out of it

i didnt say wind up your shoulders, i said swing your shoulders. for those of you that can go out and doone right now youll know what i mean. more like lead with your shoulder, and yes it is like a long turning nose manual just remember dont do the pivot till after youve done the uturn (a gturn is not a 360 pivot, its a uturn and a 180 pivot)
