    Default Sliding Help

I can get my board to turn 180 degrees when I am going slow. I put both my hands down and turn toe side. I am interested in doing this at high speed. Will it work if I do it the same way or will I just wipeout? Also what are some other ways to slide? I want to get good at it so I can use it as a way to slow down when going down hills.

Practice... the answer is yes, you just need to keep at it, increasing your speed as you get comfortable.

It should be easier at speed. Too easy if you're not used to it!
It also helps to practice either riding switch or sliding another 180 (either direction) so you can realign yourself or just continue riding.

I found this really helpful. When you start sliding backside quickly, make sure you don't get thrown off backwards when hooking up as you can easily land on your melon...
