    Default Flat Top Trick Tip

    Hi guys,

I am trying to find the Trick Tip of the Flat Top. I found one video on the loaded site, but when I click on it, it says that it has been removed by user. So if anyone has another trick tip video can you give me the link?

its not to difficult, i'll try to explain it. I reide regular so i will be explaining it that way, if your goofy everythings opposite obviously

-Stand with your backfoot on the tail, and your front foot around the middle/front of the board.
-Step off with your front foot, this will put more weight on your backfoot (tail) causing the board to flip up.
~you don't want to kick the board directly up you pop the board out to the right, so this means moving your backfoot a little to the left as your kicking it up.
-now your left foot (front foot) is on the ground, you want to grab the front left side of the board with your right hand, as you step forward with your back foot.
-the board should already be in a rotation since you kicked it out to the side a bit, your right hand will help it finish its 180 rotation as you jump into the air with your right foot.
-as the board finishes its rotation drop it back onto the ground (hopefully under you) land and ride away.

when you get good enough at kicking the board up it should almost do the 180 on its own with your hand just there to guide it along. if you notice yourself at that point then your ready for a pressure flip.

the pressure flip is like a more advanced version of the flat top, its the same except you don't grab the board with your hand (let it do the 180 on its own), and you only take one step. here the trick tip for that

isn't a flat top a 180 nocomply but instead of doing the nocomply with only your feet you grab it?

pretty much, but "180 no comply grab" is a mouthful.

the neat thing about these kinds of tricks (the pop-grabs) is that taking the 2nd step lets you get some big air. and when you get some big air, you can add some neat variations (personal wishful thinking: Flat Top barrel roll ... it could be done...)

i love doing flat tops when just cruising or something. On thing, off things, they r just crazy! doing them off of 3 foot objects, sick. I can also manual into flat-top now. Only bad thing is that my board got super razor tail now, lost 1 inch of my tail
