None... you are actually flipping the universe around the board.

try flipping more with your toe since it gives you more control. One thing that worked for me was to just set the board in my yard and practice flipping it to figure out how much/little i needed to "kick" it.

Sorry if my question was very newbish. I didn't quite think out my question since I have no background of skating so I thought i'd ask. But I guess it might have been obvious to many people.

hey there! i just learned this trick fairly recently.
taking from the suggestion below, try kicking the board to see how much force you need to flip it (one flip is when it lands right side up after you kick it). don't try and kick and jump on it right away when learning. you'll just fall on your butt most of the time; i know i did.
then once you've gotten used to the kick part, try jumping. i lift my other foot (the one not kicking) higher to give clearance for the board to flip. then land on the board WIDE STANCE. if not wide stance, you'll see the board sweeping you off your feet, falling on your butt again.
i hope this helps.
Practice.

I find I combine the jump with the flick - so if you're going to practice without jumping onto the board, you could maybe try it just jumping straight up but not onto the board, or jumping over the board.
But I'd still say just practice flicking and jumping on at the same time on grass, that way pretty much the worst that can happen is you land on the rail and fall on the grass. I'm no expert, that's just how I learned them.

I finally did the ghost ride kick flip today on the grass after numerous days of flipping and landing on the board with only my backfoot. Can't wait to get better at it and do it while moving =D.
think about it, its called a kickflip. not a double or triple kickflip. and half a flip makes no sense. so, one flip. now go skate.
This is the only answer that actually answers the question. I'm pretty sure he didn't ask for kick flip help unless he's implying it and I didn't pick up on it.

Careful not to break your board. That is how you will snap a board. Especially while moving. Careful to distribute your weight near the trucks instead of accidentally in the center.
Also, I used to practice them in side on carpet. LOL.

Yeah, I didn't really ask for help on the kickflips, but its great that everyone contributed to how to to do a ghost ride kick flip. It certainly helped me even though I didn't state it in this thread i made about a month ago lol.

It was pretty freaky to actually land on my board the first time because of the flex (I'm riding a Heist). I've only been able to land 3 times so far, and one time on the thin rail (wierd moment of being 9 inches above the ground since I landed one foot on the rail).
I'm pretty sure the Heist can support the bottoming out since i weigh 130 and it would only be occasionally.
