    Default Shanker help

I'm trying to master the shanker, and I can't seem to get it.

    Halp?

Also, I have indeed watched the video multiple times and searched.

What seems to be the problem ?

For me it was popping the board since my pintail doesn't have much nose on it, but after a few tries I got it. You just have to trust that the leg that your revolving around keeps the board from tipping over.

Still, I don't actually even like the trick. It feels kinda silly doing it.

my biggest problem is not "spinning" the board when I pop up. usually I accidentily make it rotates like 25* or so and my momentum makes it practically impossible to land (my body is moving forward and my board is moving left)

The way i got over the rotating problem was making as little contact with the board as possible after the pop. So i pop the tail up and then do a quick body varial. It may not be the exact way to shanker but it works. Hope this helps

Exactly, don't put too much weight on the foot your rotating around.
