My dervish makes annoying sounds!?

Ok so I've had my Derish for about a week now. Problem is, since when it was brand new, it made annoying sounds. First of, the trucks squeaked. I fixed that with some soap. But there was(and still is) one more problem. When I turn or even just step on my board, it makes kinda clicking/popping sounds. I have no idea if it is the board or the trucks or whatever that makes the sound. I am very curious about what makes the sound, it's annoying as hell. I'm also worried if somethig is broke or wrong or anything. A few friends of mine have longboards too, but their boards don't make the sound and they have no clue of what I'm talking about.
So I would very much appreciate any help here, about what makes the sound, does it matter and what should I do to fix it.

seriously man up your board isnt going to be stealth... and check your hardware.. make sure you have drop through risers and hardware

The popping sound might be from trucks that are too tight.

Try loosening your trucks and see if the popping sound goes away.

It might be the bamboo that makes some noise or its the truck hardware beeing a bit too tight.

Ah that's just the board complaining that you;re not riding fast enough. You will notice that when you go faster you cannot hear the sounds any more...

I'm thinkin' it's the deck, too. My Scimitar made similar noises for a while. Just ride it out.

I doubt it. I'd put money on hardware issues for the OP. The Scimmy just liked to creak. Maybe trying to live up the Kracked Skulls brand name.

Although I suspect the KS creaking has to do with those plates on the end that the trucks are bolted through. My Legendary Demon with the whiplash guard (basically a metal version of the KS stuff), it creaks too.

its probably the bolts holding the trucks into your deck. If its a rattling noise then take an allen wrench and tighten them up

Here's another source for rattling sounds. Tinkering with boards, I pulled one out I hadn't ridden in awhile and had rattling when I turned. It was a complete that I hadn't taken apart since I received it. Found flat metal washers in the cup washer because the aftermarket bushings they'd added didn't fit. I replaced it with the right sized cup washers and problem solved. Nothing but the sound of thane.

If you've got cupped washers, check to see if flat washers have been added. Use nylon flat washers (if required) vice the metal ones.

If it isnt your mounting hardware, then it is the bushing cup hitting the kingpin. I have had this problem with my bears, try loosening your trucks or find a better fitting bushing cup.

Dude i got the same problem, my dervish mas making harsh cracking/clicking sounds whenever i put carved with some force. ends up the bamboo in front of the trucks is cracked right down the middle and is rubbing together. Fortunately i had just put on some grip tape that covered that all the way from there to the middle of the board and it i think that it may be helping to keep everything together.

So inspect you board real good for cracks,( if you find any u can try and get loaded to replace it) or just say F-it and ride it till it completely breaks like ive decided to do
