Default Help on Dancing and tricks?

Hey guys I have an Arbor Blunt Bamboo with Paris 180's, Abec 11 Gumballs 78a 78mm, and Super swiss 6 bearings. I originally got it as a downhill board and it is amazing at, it can control high speeds with no wobbles, i just love it for that. But lately ive started dancing too and tryin tricks out cuz school started so i ride my board on campus (no hills). I was wondering if u guys think if the blunt is cut out for dancing because it does have kicktails and is wide and long so i imagine tricks could be easy...but i am having difficulty doing shove its and an other tricks... i am able to cross step somewhat and do other neat things and am wondering maybe it just takes alot of time and practice, but i dont wanna waste the time if the blunt just wont do it..i never see anyone with a blunt who can do tricks on it, im the 1st person that ive seen with a blunt and has started doing stuff on it...

I wanted to see if any of u guys have the blunt and have mastered doing whatever on them or if i just need a complete new board or if its just my wheels (cuz they are 78a and for sliding i hear u need alot harder wheels, cuz i would love to slide also). Thanks in advance!

Pretty much any board can be used to dance and you have yourself a pretty good platform to bust some moves on so all you have to do is practice to get them down 8)

It looks like a decent board for dancing, since it has a wide nose and a nice tail in it.

I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to do a shove-it with it. It just may take some practicing, just like everything else.

Yeah the problem is that skateboarding is difficult. Most things can be done on most boards with enough skill and practice. I hate shuvits on dancing boards, but could do them all day on a street deck, wheee.
