    Default Cross-stepping

I found out last night that I can't cross-step for crap. I can cross-step but I can't carve while cross-stepped. My friend is going into deep carves and cross-stepping and he barely rides. I try it and I eat it. Very humbling. So now I have something to focus on for awhile. I'll drag out the big flat SMA and work on cross-stepping and walking the board in general. I thought I was better than this. First I lost my vert skills. Now I can't cross-step. Very humbled.

I find it is easiest to do a frontside carve while taking a cross step up the board and then shuffling back on the backside carve. On Chris Chaput's website he does the same stuff on his ski in the video section.

just get a foot of 4inch abs from the hardware store, wrap it with duct tape, and grab an old deck, there you got a balance board.

all you need is a plank or an old deck and then a two litre bottle full of water.

ey? concave does not make it impossible, you just need some length. 48'' of concave is fine
