    Default Slide help!

Hi guys! I'm new here and I'm just starting to learn how to longboard. My question is, is there a certain type of wheels you need to slide? The problem is when I try to do a slide or any other pendy trick my wheels get caught. Am I just going too slow or is it that my wheels are too soft? Btw I ride an Indy racer by bareback skateboards. It's like 15 years old lol.

    To do a pendy(help me A LOT)
When get moderate speed get in a Coleman stance(really emphasize the back foot laying on the board)
Once you get speed apply weight/pressure on your front foot and initiate the slide
While sliding, you want to pull the board in if you grab rail(grab directly in front of your back foot if you grab rail)

To Coleman pendy keep in mind that you want to compress(before slide) de-compress(initiating slide) and compress back again(returning to original stance)

You know its not the fall that kills you. It is the sudden deceleration at the end.

I just started to seriously longboard after just crusin on a s9 board for a while. I bought a tan tien with paris trucks and stimulus wheels and ive been using it for about a week now. I got my heelside standing slides right away. Ive almost gotten toeside down. I cant figure out my handsdown slides though. From what ive read it seems that most people think handsdown is easier (not sure if thats true). Anyway if someone could tell me what im doing wrong on like my coleman slides. I get the slide but i cant get the board all the way around with out falling or screwing up. Any suggestions?

Do you know what kind of wheels those are, they look domed.
My two cents, often illegible bullshit.

Sliding is just a live and learn thing. People can give you tips but what it really comes down to is finding what works for you.
