What's wrong with my Lookback?

I can get the trick down, but most of the time (all of the time pretty much) I pull back, and pull back at a good speed, but my other foot plants back on and it stops the boards momentum. What am I doing wrong????? Help!?

Seems like youre shifting your weight back on the board too early.

1) Place, don't plant.
2) Over emphasize the pull.
3) ????
4) Elderly ladies!!!

The board wants to continue going forward as you pull. Weight that pull leg and catch her gently just when you feel she'll shoot out from under you, not before.

its when you are learning toeside standies and catch an edge and get pitched, and in mid flight you look back to see where you will land. (I think...)

I think his problem is you needs a feather hat to land this trick. Get the swag level up and then you can land it

Try moving on to a better trick? It helps if you dance loose on big boards

Your problem with your lookback is that you've started 10 threads already.

How can we tell you what's wrong with it? We can't see you. If it doesn't look cool, try a different dancing move that you like more.

Oh, number 1 is probably the problem. but number 4 IS a good point XD
