    Default Slide help.

Hey Silverfish! I have been wanting to get better at sliding recently and have been working pretty hard at it. I have been able to do speed checks and 180's for months, but now I want to be able to do big heelside standies. I know hills that I can do 35+ on, so I am not that afraid of speed. Whenever I go into the slide, I hold it about 10 feet then get thrown forwards. I am thinking that I need to lean back even more. I am doing this on a CR Minicore with Bears and Metro Motions. Any tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

There are many threads about slide help so use the search function! I just learned 15 foot heelsides so I may be able to help. Try to keep even pressure on the front and back of the board. All you have to do is find the perfect amount of lean so you dont highside. Good luck!
