Front you mean frontside? As in facing the deck? I want to know too.

I'm horrible at them. And anything else that has to do with frontside on walls.
Learn how to kickturn frontside. Then learn how to slash (kickturn on the coping). Go from there.

I think frontside is all about knowing yourself and being confident. Cause you can see were your heading well and is just scarier. I dont really understand fs and bs. So fs you turn towards your back (counterclockwise in regular stance) and bs you turn towards your chest (clockwise in reg stance) right? Wasnt it the other way around?

^ Other way around. If you're regular, you ride the left side of the wall backside (back to the wall/obstacle) and the right side of the wall frontside (front to the wall/obstacle).

The way I was told, the side is determined by which side of your body is facing up. If you're goofy and take a right turn on a wall, your front side is facing up, so it's frontside, same with backside.

As far as riding frontide, it's deffinanly tougher. I can ride frontside, but I have a hard time getting any pump out of it.

^ Yeah. "Right side" is different from "right turn."

Backside=turning towards the direction your toes are pointing
Frontside= turning toward the direction your heels are pointing

Anyways... I just managed to get front grinds in the deep end of Sk8labs bowl. The deep's like six feet and pretty steep too, so I'm pretty stoked right now. (sk8lab in florida not california)
