I have a couple problems. When I chop the wood, my board often tips over and when I try to adjust my foot on other tries, it won't carve at all. Is this due to my trucks being too tight? I have them this tight to avoid wheel bite. Should I get some wheel scoops cut in?
Ya, I just got wheelbite for the first time the other day while doing a grab into a heelside turn. I ended up doing a backwards summersault on the road. I thought that sucked... I can't imagine getting wheelbite on chop the wood while your on one foot. Get risers, I think that's what I'm going to do too.

Nothing like skating a garage at a hospital! Can't get anymore convienent than that!
if you, for some reason, cant get risers or bushings or something else to fix it, you probally can loosen it a little more than you have it.
loosen it a teeny bit, then ride it going fairly slow but turning hard (if you get wheelbite it wont hurt)
if it dosnt get wheelbite, keep loosening it untill you do. then you will know when its max is.
