I bought a longboard about a month ago and I started riding it. It rocks like this, but I'd like to go a little further with my board, like learning tricks, etc. but I have absolutely no knowledge of longboards, and only a little of skateboarding (from playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater ). So what should I do/where should I go to begin some new stuff with my board? I'm ready to try about anything!

You're right where you need to be...start by using the search feature on this forum and you'll find a vast resource of tricks and moves to get you started!

Well thanks Ok, I parsed through the forums for some info. Pretty useful stuff in there! Since I can already carve, I wanna get into slalom and pumping first, then I'll try the slides. I still need to get a pair of gloves, I wouldn't want to try sliding without, seems a bit extreme for a newbie. Anyways, for slalom and pumping, should I get into the streets even if the concrete sucks, or should I head to a skatepark?
