Oh yes, i have finally conquered the g-turn. since there's snow on the ground, i cleared out my room, and have been practicing for about a day on my loaded pin, and i finally got it last night. I can now do it one out of about 10 times in my room, where I typically hit my couch on the last pivot. I'M STOKED.
So, just wanted to share my excitement, have fun, stay cool.

haha thanks man! yeah, they're patagonia baggies, except i got the womens version for the cool print, and they don't have built in undies like the mens....
good luck, and need i say it, practice makes perfect
yeah, i kept hitting the back end on my couch, and then i would kind of stumble off awkwardly. I really had to get the trajectory right to have enough space.
And yes the g-turn is hard, but i would suggest really practicing your nose mannys, and then going out and spending a long time practicing
haha thanks. Smartwool ftw. Yes, as i said in some other thread, loadeds are really difficult boards to get the hang of manualling, esp. if you've been doing it on a heavier board. The lightness (real word?) of them really throws off your balance. Keep practicing though, you'll get it.
Oh, and good on ya for the regular mannys, i find them much more diffucult, esp on the pin. I can only get like 2 parking spaces, maybe on that board.
well, with manualing on loaded boards, i dont know if it is because there light. i think it is because there wheelbase is so long. because on my humu (which was like .000000001 lbs) i can manual realllly long.
i may be wrong, but i deff agree its something about loadeds that make it harder to manual on

well, for me it's the lightness. I have an insect big bug, which is pretty heavy, and thats what i started manualling on. (it too has a huuuge wheel base). Transfering to the loaded, when i started, i was putting waaaay to much pressure on the nose, b/c i was used to having to do that to my bug. Then i got used to it, and now it's nice. I still prefer manualling my bug though, it's just more comfy.
